As for the magnum unit, I have it. In a smaller smoker, I think it would be okay. Before you shut down the smoker, it is important to get it burning cleanly with nice blue smoke. Ten minutes are needed for this For me, it takes 15 minutes. In that case, you can turn the air pump down to a very low setting or even unplug it if you need a lot less smoke. The learning curve is short but it did take me a little while to figure it out. Cold smoking is very good as well. It is a pleasure to do business with smoke daddy. In the past, I've used it for additional smoke on hot smokes (not that I needed it), just to test it out, and was pleasantly surprised by the result. As soon as some semblance of winter weather arrived here in Texas, I had the chance to put the 'cold smoke' to the test. I cold smoked over 18 pounds of cheddar cheese. barrel temperature when smoking the first 4 pounds reached only 76 degrees, and it was only 54 degrees when the first 4 pounds smoked. I had 14 pounds yesterday and it was 45 degrees in the atmosphere. I didn't let the barrel temperature exceed 55 degrees. When it reached that temperature, a strange phenomenon occurred to me. During the video, you can see that most of the smoke came out of the grease drip instead of the smoke stack. The Savannah Stoker controller, which uses the induction fan only to assist with smoke circulation, makes me want to purchase one. In my case, at least, the drawback is that I have found that the actual temperature appears to run 10 degrees lower at all times than the target temperature displayed on my controller since replacing it. The unit was installed as instructed, but I'm wondering if heat may be going into the pipe and the smoke daddy and causing a dip in temperature. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that there were too many warnings.
Now that I've had my new pellet smoker for almost a month, I thought I would give it a quick review. You have high expectations of what it will do since it is a very high end item and you spent a lot on it I have been using my WSM smoker several years and enjoy it so much I was inclined to try the new Now I've got a grill and am ready to smoke. I've been using my grill low and slow, and it puts out perfect blue smoke every time. Does it affect the quality of my Eh, not at all sometimes it can't even be tasted. This food is absolutely delicious, regardless of how it cooks. After trying smoker tubes and boxes, I tried smoking cigars. I have asked the same question on all pellet grilling forums (Id say there are over a million links with that very question) but all I receive back is "hey you don't want the oversmoked taste or you have to fine-tune your palate. . . . " etc. . There's only one thing I want to taste woody flavors! It doesn't matter which pellet grill you use, they just burn too efficiently, so they can't really smolder like wood, and there is just not enough of it to burn on your grill since it is used to provide heat only. I'm still on the hunt for my next smoke flavor fix, and I find some reviews for I found this to be a pretty cool idea and I got the benefit of cold smoking on my grill as well. In spite of being a little nervous about drilling in to my expensive grill, I decided it was worth the risk after talking to others who have done it. That was why I strategically positioned my Magnum where I wanted it and drilled at will. The installation and setup process was very simple. As soon as I started it up, I used some charcoal and wood chunks to get it going a bit and filled it with chips of my choice. This thing started pumping out some heavy When you are happy with your settings, you adjust the air pump accordingly. It is very well made, although I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I had a problem because my smoker was sealed up tight, and with the fan driving the pellets it causes back pressure so I had to get a more powerful pump to shorten my burn times. We now come to the The first meal I cooked was chicken thighs, and all I can say is that after taking my first bite of it I felt like this was the flavor I had been seeking. I like how the smokey taste is not overpowering at all. We had an awesome time. It is the one thing I use on every dish I prepare. I'm saying if you want more flavor go for it. Believe me, you will get it. You don't have to listen to those who say it's not the right smoke. You can dial it in to produce a nice blue straw let's get it, barbecues are a matter of personal taste. From the point of view of build quality, this is a great device. The material is very durable and tough. My grill will last at least as long as this.
A major manufacturing flaw is present in this cold smoker, making it a poor choice With the plastic cap knobs on the bottom and top caps getting extremely hot, it will be difficult to handle them without wearing thermally protected gloves once the unit is lighted and the body is getting hot. When the bottle needs refilling, this puts a kink in the whole process. Overall, the amount of smoke generated has been good, even for a shot time, even for a longer period of time. ' Here is a month's worth of data after attaching a "Medium-Sized Refrigerator Smoker" to this unit As a result, the steel springs and metal mesh on the bottom are melting and getting bent after a few uses. A few times a month It takes 25 minutes for the smoker to generate smoke from the wood chunks it has used. The overall experience has been somewhat disappointing to me. In the case of the price, it is underperforming.
The amount of smoke generated by my grill was unsightly after the first two times I used it. I was surprised at how easy it was to install the product. While I was very nervous about drilling into a $1,500 grill, I found a couple of YouTube videos and a $19 drill bit at Home Depot, and it took less than five minutes to complete. The Magnum P Smoke Daddy can be lit after it has been lit. It was actually impossible to see enough of the grill to put the main grate into the slot, so the first time I tested it, I had to turn it off. Magnum P has a number of advantages. With the G size, you can use the pump at a very low setting, enabling it to last a very long time without reloading.
After spending a lot of money on the new Traeger Pro Series 34, I was too disappointed with the lack of There were a number of brands that I tried The Smoke Daddy Magnum PIG review I read was very good and I did some research before I purchased it. Yesterday, I got it and it was extremely easy to install. It took me about a quarter of the way up to fill it with lump charcoal, wood chips, and wood chunks. Make sure you have the correct drill bit to drill the right hole. By lighting it from the bottom with a butane torch, I got it to burn. The smell of good old smoke wafted through the air. I turned down the air pump to low and then got the thin blue smoke. The smoke initially began to be very heavy. My family and I are looking forward to using it for a brisket this weekend. The results so far have been great! Smoke Daddy, thank you so much! The result I had been looking for is this.
